A practical guide to “which scissor when”, Snip Happens is a focused scissoring and finishing session led by Master Groomer, judge, international grooming champion and owner of The Coat, Verity Hardcastle, and her Miniature Poodle Floyd. With years of experience in the grooming salon, competition ring and judging arena, Verity brings a practical, knowledgeable and honest approach to helping you understand your tools and use them with confidence. This session will explore how different scissors can support different techniques, coat types and finishes, helping you make more informed decisions about what to reach for, when to use it and why it matters. From choosing between blenders, chunkers and curves, to refining shape, softening lines and improving the final finish, Verity will share guidance rooted in real grooming experience. Whether you are looking to better understand the scissors already in your kit, make more confident choices when adding to your collection, or refine the way you approach finishing work, Snip Happens will give you practical guidance you can take straight back to the grooming table.
